In late 1952 two “show car” Corvettes where created. They were deemed the cars “Motorama” Corvettes. On January 17, 1953 the Corvette concept car debuts at GM Motorama at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City.
For the 1954 Motorama, several other concept cars were created and displayed. Based on the Motorama Corvette, GM created a station wagon, a coupe, and the hardtop Corvair. Out of the all the show cars only the coupe still exists today and is in Canada The original Corvair show car was unfortunately scrapped by GM and no longer exists.
Today, the fastback lives on. I have created molds and body panels to create an exact recreation of the Motorama Fastback. My first recreation is an Amelia Island award winner and has earned many other prestigious concourse awards as well as being well documented in numerous automotive magazines.
A donor Corvette body is needed for the transformation and can be built to your color, engine, and chassis desires. Your Motorama Fastback can be built to be a Stock replica or built to be a wild Pro Touring machine.
