June 3, 2021 - We stripped the car of all the remaining bolt on parts, screws, wiring, clips, etc.... and sent the body to be blasted - we blast ALL our bodies - they turn out great and we can get to work right away on body work
June 8, 2021 - The front lower valance reinforcement needed to be replaced. Installed one from Corvette Image - it was glued in and riveted in just like an original. The also owner shipped many of the loose, nuts and bolts and items like the catches and latches - We take all those parts and we blast them and send them out for zinc plating - they look brand new and when we need them - they are ready to go

June 26, 2021 - Blasting reveals alot about the history of the car and prior damage - This car was hit in the LH side rocker and fender and the RH side rocker and fender. The car also had heavy damage to the RR and LR upper surround and lower panel
We drilled out all the factory rivets and replaced the LH front toe board reinforcement. This real deal blue car will need some TLC body work !!
October 29, 2021 - The LH upper fender had a large hole in it near the rear of the fender - We ground out all the old body work - Filled the hole with Fiber Tech and then added 2 layer of mat fiberglass to the hole and surrounding area to give it strength - then we body worked the outer rear fender with Rage Ultra. Damage and missing in the accident were the inside sheet metal braces for the kick panels - we obtained new ones and riveted them in place like new
Jan 5, 2022 - Body work continues as we repaired damage to the LF fender wheel lip and opening both front and back - we made sure the wheel lip thickness matched the rest of the inside of the fender
Jan 10, 2022 - A large part of the 53 54 55 restorations is making the headlight bezels fit the car - We hand fit each bezel and bucket to each car - looking for a nice tight fit. Fitting the headlight bezels to the car is not an easy feat and take alot of time and patience. We also fit the bumpers to the car before the bumpers are set out for plating
Feb 3, 2022 - There was some collision damage to the LR rocker at the firewall - reason we replaced to the toe board reinforcement - we ground out all the old repairs and damage and repaired the rocker with Fiber Tech. After that was sanded smooth we body worked the area with Rage Ultra.
