Many folks think the 1953 and 1954/1955 Corvettes are the same - This U Tube video is of Brett Henderson - Owner of Blue Flame Restorations discussing the differences.
Another misconception is the '53 Corvette was manufacturered just like any other Corvette - this is just not true - the 53 Corvette was manufacturered in Flint Michigan - in 1954 the plant was moved to St. Louis - Here is a video showing how 1953's were made - they were all hand laid cloth.
