Mike contacted us after buying this 1954 Corvette - It had been restored by a prior shop and was missing a convertible top - Mike brought a top he had purchased (in boxes) and asked us to install a top for him. We restore our own convertible tops - we removed all the tack strips and powdercoat all the side irons and bows - we also vapor hone blast the front header then we install new tack strips. Then we assemble the tops and install them on the car.
After we installed the top Mike asked us to complete an inspection on the car and what would it take to earn a NCRS Top Flight award - We completed a 3 page report for Mike and he asked us to do the work with a goal of getting a Top Flight - We completed the needed work and took the car to the NCRS IL Chapter Meadowdale event where the car earned its Top Flight award !!!!!! Congratulations Mike !!
